Chief Warrant Officer Mark Bechtel, an Army aviation maintenance instructor at Fort Rucker, Ala., and Lt. Col. Jahya Bdour, an aviation maintenance officer representing Jordan, discuss maintenance issues at the International Aviation Maintenance Symposium (IAMS), in Atlanta, Tuesday. Third Army hosted the inaugural event ,Aug. 26-30, in order to engage aviation leaders from its 27 partner nations to discuss relevant issues regarding aviation maintenance. This week's symposium is one of a multitude of theater security and cooperation events with Third Army's partner nations in Central and Southwest Asia that compliments missions including providing aviation support to all of the forward operating bases in Iraq and Afghanistan.
