Maj. John Kenkell, a country desk officer for Third Army/U.S. Army Central's Civil and International Military Affairs and Col. Al-Nehmi, deputy commander of maintenance for Yemen's 17th Aviation Brigade, discuss aviation maintenance issues at the International Aviation Maintenance Symposium (IAMS) in Atlanta, Tuesday. Third Army hosted the inaugural event ,Aug. 26-30, in order to engage aviation leaders from its 27 partner nations to discuss relevant issues regarding aviation maintenance. This week's symposium is one of a multitude of theater security and cooperation events with Third Army's partner nations in Central and Southwest Asia that compliments missions including providing aviation support to all of the forward operating bases in Iraq and Afghanistan.
