Soldiers of the 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, step off the airplane at Fort Benning, Ga., Tuesday, March 27. The Sledgehammer Brigade recently completed the first decisive action rotation at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, Calif. Decisive action is a combination of force-on-force combat with pre-9/11 enemy tactics and scenarios learned from Iraq and Afghanistan.
