ARABIAN GULF (May 22, 2019) Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Benjamin Hill signals a UH60 Black Hawk helicopter from the "Tigers" of Bravo Company 2-147th Aviation Regiment, 8-229th Assault Helicopter Battalion during flight operations on the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Gonzalez (DDG 66), May 22, 2019. Gonzalez is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
