Maj. Gen. William M. Jurney, Commanding General of 3rd Marine Division, congratulates Master Chief Christopher T. Stone, Command Master Chief of 3rd Marine Division on Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan, June 14, 2019. Stone was awarded the Fleet Marine Force Enlisted Warfare Specialist Device. Sailors who earn the FMFEWS must complete a variety of challenges. These challenges are composed of serving one year with a Marine Corps unit and passing the Marine Corps Physical Fitness Test, as well as a written test. Additionally, Sailors must demonstrate basic Marine Corps knowledge by successfully breaking down weapons, conducting land navigation and combat communications. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
