Airmen from the 23d Civil Engineer Squadron and 93d Air Ground Operations Wing secure signposts in preparation for the Commemoration of D-Day 75 ceremony, June 2, 2019, near Sainte-Mère-Église, France. The engineers provided structural support for the Commemoration of D-Day 75. While in France, the engineers also repaired and built bridges that were used to access hard-to-reach areas of a parachute drop zone. As part of the commemoration, parachutists from across the Department of Defense performed the same jumps their predecessors did on D-Day. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Hayden Legg)
