190703-N-MU198-1152 MANTA, Ecuador (July 3, 2019) Capt. Justin Oswell, the civil affairs officer, and Lt. Cdmr. Derek Austin, a Navy doctor, gives closing remarks to Sailors assigned to the hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20), following the dismantling of a temporary medical treatment facility. Comfort is working with health and government partners in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean to provide care on the ship and at land-based medical sites, helping to relieve pressure on national medical systems strained by an increase in Venezuelan migrants.
