Attendees take turns reentering kayaks from the water during a cold water paddle craft class held in Juneau, Alaska, June 22, 2019.

Participants practiced a mix of self rescue and working as a team, where one person would use their small craft to help stabilize the other person’s craft while they attempted to reenter their vessel.
