SANTA RITA, Guam (July 9, 2019) – Navy Diver 1st Class Michael Welch, assigned to the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40) dive locker, explains the capabilities of the ship’s recompression chamber to staff from Commander, Submarine Group 7 (CSG-7) and the Royal Malaysian Navy submarine force during a ship tour, July 9. The purpose of the tour was to review and establish combined goals and future plans for joint training and exercises. Frank Cable, forward-deployed to the island of Guam, repairs, rearms and reprovisions submarines and surface vessels in the Indo-Pacific region.
