Scales display the weight of an Iraqi Air Force C-130J Super Hercules at the Baghdad Diplomacy Support Center, Iraq, June 23, 2019. Air advisors from the 770th and 370th Air Expeditionary Advisory Squadrons, along with Iraqi Air Force members, weighed and balanced a C-130J Super Hercules. Weight and balance is a preventative maintenance check requirement every 72 months for the air frame to ensure the aircraft maintains the proper center of gravity during flight. The combined efforts of U.S. Air Force Air Advisors and Iraqi Air Force members saved the Iraqi Air Force approximately 56 million dollars and increased the self sufficiency of the Iraqi Air Force.
