An Iraqi Air Force member aligns scales beneath the landing gear of an Iraqi C-130J Super Hercules for a weight and balance check at Baghdad Diplomacy Support Center, Iraq, June 23, 2019. Air advisors from the 770th and 370th Air Expeditionary Advisory Squadron, along with Iraqi Air Force members, weighed and balanced a C-130J Super Hercules. Weight and balance is a preventative maintenance check requirement every 72 months for the air frame to ensure the aircraft maintains the proper center of gravity during flight. The combined efforts of U.S. Air Force Air Advisors and Iraqi Air Force members saved the Iraqi Air Force approximately 56 million dollars and increased the self-sufficiency of the Iraqi Air Force.
