MANAMA, Bahrain (July 15, 2019) Officers from countries participating in International Maritime Exercise (IMX) 19 meet during the IMX 19 final planning conference to discuss logistics for the upcoming exercise. IMX 19 is the world's most inclusive maritime exercise, designed to strengthen relationships, foster interoperability among supporting forces, and enhance maritime security operations, mine countermeasures (MCM), and maritime infrastructure capabilities in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
