During the ceremony, Cmdr. Ryan Carey relieved Cmdr. Omarr Tobias as commander, NMCB-5. The Seabees assigned to NMCB-5 support worldwide combat and contingency operations, building advanced bases and conducting humanitarian recovery missions.
