Teniente Coronel de Infantería de Marina de Colombia (Colombian Marine Lt. Col.) Eduar Alexander Michaels Bravo, the deputy commander of Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, gives Marines from the Brigada Infantería de Marina (Guatemalan Marine Brigade) feedback after a joint training exercise in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala, July 19, 2019. Joint training held between the Marines and sailors of the SPMAGTF-SC and its partner nations are shaping the capabilities and responsiveness with each other, which achieves interoperability among the militaries. The task force is conducting training and engineering projects alongside partner nation military forces in Central and South America. The unit is also on standby to provide humanitarian assistance and disaster relief in the event of a hurricane or other emergencies in the region. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Stanley Moy)
