U.S. Army Sgt. David Calzadilla participated in a military working dogs demonstration with Task Force K-9 at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, Jun. 28, 2019. Calzadilla received first-hand experience serving as a suspected combatant. The dogs along with their handlers support Operation Inherent Resolve by helping to safeguard military bases. The dogs are trained to detect even the tiniest amount of explosives or drugs and at the same time frighten an aggressor on command (U.S. Army Photo by Sgt. 1st Class Tracy Korff).
