Recruits with Hotel Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, war cry during a Marine Corps Martial Arts Program training session at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, June 17.One of the purposes of learning MCMAP is to teach recruits basic offensive and defensive techniques, and this gives them the opportunity to master the moves in preparation for the MCMAP test later in training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited form the Western Recruiting Region are trained aboard MCRD San Diego. Hotel Company is scheduled to graduate August 30.
