U.S. sailors and Coast Guardsmen board a rigid hull inflatable boat with members of the Cape Verde Coast Guard and Maritime Police from guided-missile frigate USS Simpson before a suspected vessel boarding. USS Simpson is supporting of the African Maritime Law Enforcement Partnership operations, a branch of the Africa Partnership Station, in an effort to build maritime safety and security on and off shore.
