Bill Hyde, an aircraft engine mechanic for the T-38 Talon, re-builds a J85 jet engine April 19. The J85 is a small, single-shaft turbojet engine capable of producing up to 3,000 pounds of thrust. The engine is lightweight and cost-efficient, making it ideal for training at Holloman AFB.
