U.S. Sgt. Lorenzo Ponce, who serves in B Company, 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, Inf. Brig. Combat Team, 25th Inf. The training is a portion of Pacific Pathways' Exercise Cartwheel 2019, which aims to strengthen relationships through bilateral military-to-military training, with the Republic of Fiji Military Forces. The exercise builds expeditionary readiness and interoperability, increasing capabilities to face crisis contingencies by developing and stressing units at the highest training levels.
