A U.S. Sailor with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa 19.2, Marine Forces Europe and Africa, explains the medical capabilities at the cooperative security location to Tulinabo S. Mushingi, U.S. Ambassador to Senegal, during a media day and tour in Dakar, Senegal Aug. 2, 2019. SPMAGTF-CR-AF activated the CSL to exercise forward-staging a crisis-response force, rehearse realistic training scenarios, and increase proficiency. SPMAGTF-CR-AF is deployed to conduct crisis-response and theater-security operations in Africa and promote regional stability by conducting military-to-military training exercises throughout Europe and Africa.
