U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. James Bellissimo, controller with the 235th Air Traffic Controller Squadron, demonstrates the use of tactical radar equipment in New London, N.C., Aug. 3rd, 2019. The North Carolina Air National Guard, along with New Hampshire and Maine Air National Guard, flew to Ramstein Air Base, Germany to work with active duty 1st Combat Communications Squadron. The Air National Guard units assisted in training the active duty unit with set-up, use, and tear-down of a mobile tower and deployable tactical air navigation system.
