The LADS can wash 200 pounds of laundry at one time while recycling the water used. The LADS is an essential part of keeping soldiers' uniforms and equipment clean overseas, said Holdridge. The three soldiers are assigned to the 157th Quartermaster Company, 553rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 4th Sustainment Brigade.
