U.S. Army Col. Christopher Martin, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Afghanistan Engineer District-North commander, presents the Bronze Star, Afghanistan Campaign Medal and the NATO Medal to U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Chad D. Brandau from Tucson, Ariz., April 15, 2012. He served as the senior non-commissioned officer and enlisted adviser from May 7, 2011 to May 6 2012. He received the award for exceptional meritorious service for providing superior leadership to more than 1,400 employees in support of an extremely diverse $5 billion construction program, the largest in the district's history.
