    Airman 1st Class Rodrick Defreitas prepares to refuel a C-17 Globemaster III, at Joint Base Charleston - Air base, April 18. The C-17 can hold up to 35,546 gallons of fuel and can carry a maximum of 17,900 pounds and land on runways as short as 3,500 feet which is crucial to resupplying remote areas from the air or ground. Defreitas is from the 628th Logisitcs Readiness Squadron, Fuels Mobility Support Flight.
