(Aug. 9, 2019) Utilitiesman Constructionman Cameron Arellano, from Fort Worth, Texas, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, installs hot and cold water lines for a two-bedroom house being constructed in partnership with the Southwest Indian Foundation (SWIF). Members of NMCB-3 and NMCB-18 are partnered with SWIF to construct homes for Navajo Indian families under the Department of Defense Innovative Readiness Training Program, which allows military service members the opportunity to receive unique training while simultaneously providing quality services to communities throughout the country.
