Members of a Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) recovery team, dig soil in an excavation unit while working alongside local workers at Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands, July 13, 2019. During the recovery mission, DPAA personnel and augmentees spent their days digging and screening in hopes of finding missing U.S. Marines lost during the first allied offensive in the Pacific Theater of World War II.
