Kansas Army National Guard Soldiers set up a display using camo netting and a HUMVEE ambulance for the Sporting Salutes event at Children's Mercy Park, Aug 10. Sporting Salutes allowed visitors to get an up close and personal view of many different types of medical equipment and see a little of how the Army medical process works in a field environment. KSARNG sent several units to the event, including the Medical detachment;169th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion; 2nd Combined Arms Battalion, 137th Infantry Regiment; 130th Field Artillery Brigade; 35th Military Police Company; and the 73rd Civil Support Team.
