Soldiers of the Kansas National Guard set up 5 static equipment displays for visitors of Sporting Kansas City for the Sporting Salutes event, Aug. 10, at Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas. Sporting Salutes allowed fans to get an up close and personal view of many different types of medical equipment and see a little of how the Army medical process works in a field environment. KSARNG sent several units to the event, including the Medical Detachment;169th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion; 2nd Combined Arms Battalion, 137th Infantry Regiment; 130th Field Artillery Brigade; 35th Military Police Company; and the 73rd Civil Support Team.
