Future Chief Petty Officers Complete Fleet Marine Force Challenge

190829-N-NU281-1085 KANE’OHE BAY, Hawaii (Aug. 29, 2019) Command Master Chief Petty Officer Frank Dominguez, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific, addresses first class petty officers selected to become chief petty officers during the Fleet Marine Force (FMF) challenge. The challenge is based on the physical fitness and tactical proficiency FMF Corpsmen must have to embed with Marine platoons. Sailors who are selected for promotion to chief petty officer go through six weeks of initiation training, to include leadership and physical training, to become better suited in their new roles as senior enlisted leaders.
