Staff Sgt. Lonnie Elliott, 30th Civil Engineer Squadron electrician, climbs a power pole during pole-top rescue training Aug. 23, 2019, at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. During the training, each service member had four minutes to climb a power pole, retrieve a dummy, and hoist the dummy safely to the ground.
