The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, coastal and civil engineers wake up early to begin their coastal assessments on Jensen Beach, Florida shoreline post-Hurricane Dorian, Aug. 6, 2019. The Jacksonville District will coordinate with non-Federal partners to obtain pre- and post-storm surveys of project areas to identify any impacts to the project and begin planning following the storm on the best way forward for each project. The Corps is committed to working with its non-Federal sponsors on its multiple Coastal Shore Protection Projects.
