Martin County’s, coastal engineer, Kathy Fitzpatrick, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, coastal engineer, Carolina Burnette, and civil engineer, Katie Bailey assess erosion on the Jensen Beach, Florida shoreline post-Hurricane Dorian, Aug. 6, 2019. The Jacksonville District will coordinate with non-Federal partners to obtain pre- and post-storm surveys of project areas to identify any impacts to the project and begin planning following the storm on the best way forward for each project. The Corps is committed to working with its non-Federal sponsors on its multiple Coastal Shore Protection Projects.
