Sgt. 1st Class Tatiana Mason, assigned to U.S. Army Medical Department Activity–Japan, uses makeup to simulate an injury on a volunteer role-player during the annual Zama City disaster drill, held Sept. 7 at Zama Elementary School near Camp Zama, Japan. The purpose of the exercise was to raise awareness of disaster preparedness among the community and to build a seamless collaborative system in an effort to save as many lives as possible.
