25th Sustainment Brigade, 25th Infantry Division partnered with 8th Theater Sustainment Command, United States Indo-Pacific Command, 3-25 Aviation Regiment GSAB, and 209th Aviation Support Battalion and conducted four Low Cost Low Altitude (LCLA) aerial delivery missions at Kahuku Training Area (KTA) with CH-47 Chinooks from 25th Combat Aviation Brigade.
The intent of the aerial delivery mission was to support 209ASB Training and to certify four CH-47 Chinook teams to conduct aerial delivery operations in preparation for their Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) rotation.
The mission was coordinated by Lt. Tim Maginn from 209ASB, Lt. Reese, a Chinook Pilot from 3-25CAB, and Chief Warrant Officer 3 Greg Benson, an Aerial Delivery Officer from 25DSB. The mission would not have been possible without the Jump Master assistance of Master Sgt. Jason Torres from 8TSC and Chief Warrant Officer 5 Anthony Hall from USINDOPACOM.
