25th Sustainment Brigade, 25th Infantry Division partnered with 8th Theater Sustainment Command, United States Indo-Pacific Command, 3-25 Aviation Regiment GSAB, and 209th Aviation Support Battalion and conducted four Low Cost Low Altitude (LCLA) aerial delivery missions at Kahuku Training Area (KTA) with CH-47 Chinooks from 25th Combat Aviation Brigade.
The intent of the aerial delivery mission was to support 209ASB Training and to certify four CH-47 Chinook teams to conduct aerial delivery operations in preparation for their Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) rotation.
The mission was coordinated by Lt. Tim Maginn from 209ASB, Lt. Reese, a Chinook Pilot from 3-25CAB, and Chief Warrant Officer 3 Greg Benson, an Aerial Delivery Officer from 25DSB.
