Erica Murphy, spouse of Chief Warrant Officer 3 Roger Murphy, a unit maintenance technician with Forward Support Company G, 4th Battalion, 27th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas, pulls on a lanyard attached to the trigger mechanism of an M777 Towed Howitzer Cannon to fire a live-artillery round as part of a fire mission while attending a 4-27 FA family day held on Dona Ana Range, N.M., May 2. The soldiers of 4-27 FA are at Dona Ana Range to take part in the Network Integration Evaluation 12.2 capability assessment, being conducted in the Fort Bliss area by 2nd HBCT, but the unit always takes time in the field to host a family day to help those who support the unit feel appreciated for their hard work.
