(September 12, 2019) Marines from 7th Engineer Support Battalion stabilize a hose as it is connected to a beach termination unit for Offshore Petroleum Discharge System operations for the Arctic Expeditionary Capabilities Exercise (AECE). Approximately 3,000 U.S. Navy and Marine Corps personnel participate in AECE 2019, a joint training exercise that tests expeditionary logistical capabilities in the Arctic and Southern California regions and prepares joint forces to respond to crises across the Indo-Pacific.
