ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 17, 2019) Boatswain's Mate 1st Class Kwamitse Hodouto, from Togo, West Africa, directs an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter, attached to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 72, on the flight deck of the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60) Sept. 17, 2019. Normandy is operating in the Atlantic in support of naval operations to maintain maritime stability and security in order to ensure access, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
