VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Sept. 13, 2019) Chief Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) John Alayon, from Bacolod City, Philippines, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) air department, receives his anchors from wife, sons and father during Ford’s Chief Petty Officer pinning ceremony held at the Sandler Center.
