Richard Boettcher, standing, assigned to Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard Detachment and Christopher Graves, a scientist assigned to Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) Testbed for Internet of things (IoT) based Privacy-preserving PERvassive Spaces (TIPPERS) software application during Trident Warrior at-sea field experiment on board the guided missile destroyer USS Russell (DDG 59). Experimentation with the TIPPERS platform enables the potential development of various smart applications based on sensor data. In its 17th year of execution, the annual fleet experiment helps the Navy identify warfighting capability gaps and provides inventive solutions in an operational environment.
