1908021-N-UN340-024 SAN DIEGO (Aug. 21, 2019) The combined Testbed for Internet of things (IoT) based Privacy-preserving PERvassive Spaces (TIPPERS) software application team on board the guided missile destroyer USS Russell (DDG 59) during Trident Warrior at-sea field experiment. Experimentation with the TIPPERS platform enables the potential development of various smart applications afloat and ashore based on sensor data. In its 17th year of execution, the annual fleet experiment helps the Navy identify warfighting capability gaps and provides inventive solutions in an operational environment.
