SAGAMIHARA, Japan – Chief Warrant Officer 2 Keon Ellison, command and control systems integrator, 38th Air Defense Artillery Brigade monitors communication through the use of the CAU (Crew Access Units), while Chief Warrant Officer 2 Christopher W. Coker, command and control systems integrator, 17th Field Artillery Brigade records relay data from pilots with U.S. Army Aviation Battalion-Japan and U.S. Navy Maritime Helicopter Strike Squadron 51 flying overhead, Sept. 17. Use of the Link 16 cyber domain aligned communication capabilities during a unilateral joint training exercise designed to refine systems and concepts in order to enhance tactical planning, coordination and interoperability in a multi-domain environment on Sagami General Depot, Sept. 9-21.
