NAVAL AIR FACILITY ATSUGI, Japan – U.S. Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Baldwin Switzer, aviation anti-submarine warfare operator with HSM-51 Maritime Strike Squadron gives a thumbs up after inspecting a MH-60 Seahawk Helicopter participating in a unilateral joint training exercise to validate communication capabilities through the use of the Link 16 cyber domain, Sept. 19. The Link 16 aligned communication capabilities with fires, air defense, aviation and maritime elements during an exercise designed to refine systems and concepts in order to enhance tactical planning, coordination and interoperability in a multi-domain environment on Sagami General Depot, Sept. 9-21.
