A U.S. Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft from the 731st Airlift Squadron is prepped for Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System certification and recurrent training at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., April 20, 2012. MAFFS is a portable fire retardant system that can be installed on C-130 Hercules aircraft to convert them into air tankers.
