NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Sept. 12, 2019) Rear Adm. Kenneth Epps, Deputy Chief of Staff for Fleet Ordnance and Supply/Fleet Supply Officer, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, right, begins a tour aboard USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) hosted by Cmdr. Carl Koch, from Chicago, Ford's supply officer, in the ship's hangar bay. Epps visited Ford to see first-hand the progress the ship is making during its post-shakedown availability and to speak directly to Ford's Supply officers and Sailors.
