Paratroopers assigned to 1st Squadron, 73rd Calvary Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division conduct movement reconnaissance for a combined arms live fire exercise Sept. 25, 2019, on Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The unit trained with 1st Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade and 2nd Battalion, 319th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team in a large scale combat operations integrating air assaults, ground maneuvers, movements to contact, tactical tasks, artillery fire, Army attack aviation calls for fire, reconnaissance, air movements, and casualty evacuations. The tasks were synchronized to validate individuals, teams, and platoon elements for the Global Response Force initiative to ensure the 82nd Airborne Division is ready to jump, fight, and win tonight.
