Paratroopers assigned to 1st Squadron, 73rd Calvary Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division set communications in an observation post during a combined arms live fire exercise from Sept. 9 to 28, 2019, on Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The unit trained with 1st Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade and 2nd Battalion, 319th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team in a large scale combat operations with air assaults, artillery fire, ground maneuvers, movements to contact, tactical tasks, Army attack aviation calls for fire, reconnaissance, air movements, and casualty evacuations.
