Sailors aboard the Japan-based, Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) participate in a foreign object debris walk down in the ship's hangar bay. George Washington sailors patrol the flight deck and the hangar bays to ensure that no pieces of debris are lying around to cause damage to aircraft engines and propellers. George Washington is pierside in Yokosuka, Japan and making preparations to return to sea. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Alexander W. Cabrall)
