U.S. Marines Maj. David Delvalle, a regional affairs officer, and Capt. Elisabet Pagtakhan, a strategic mobility officer, both with U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South, visit with Batallon de Infanteria de Marina leadership of La Base Naval, La Union, El Salvador, Sept. 26, 2019. The U.S. Marines met with the Salvadoran military leaders to learn the layout of their forces and reinforce their support and partnership to their nation. The Salvadoran leaders provided tours and offered training opportunities on and near their bases alongside the Salvadoran army and marines.
