191008-N-CL550-0096 EAST CHINA SEA (Oct. 8, 2019) Damage Controlman 2nd Class Antonio Garcia, from Warner Robins, Ga., right and Hull Technician 2nd Class Michael Waller, from New Orleans, center, fight an aircraft fire, simulated by a fire card held by Hull Technician 1st Class Nicolo Vivona, from Sinking Spring, Pa., during a crash and salvage drill on the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69). Milius is underway conducting operations in the Indo-Pacific region while assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
